Been 5 weeks in Uni alrdy. Everything's been good.. thus far. Girls are great, studies are ok. Bad thing is that I couldnt blog at home.. in Uni now. Net's still bad.. since early March. Wont be well till April.. hopefully by the 1st.
Chem lab practical test yesterday evening. Sky was gloomy after lab.. ended slightly late. Autumn's coming or smth.. I dun really like it when it goes so dark after class. Feels sad... it's like missing home. I was lucky enough to get the same Unknown Solid and Solution as Clement, when he did it 2yrs back. Same as Ravie, new South-African Indian fren, too. Really cold today.. since I came back to Perth. I think I still like it warmer... appreciating Sg's weather much more now.
Next week's the start of Easter break. Have plans with the girls... shopping & studying. Everything's cool. Ferlyn will be flying over here on next Fri too. So we're gonna catch up awhile. She's bringing my shoes over as well. Xiaoying bought them for me.. coz my shoe here is spoiling. Shld have bought them myself when I was in Sg. Would not have enough shoes for winter if the white shoe spoils. It's 1 of my favourite.
Closer to the new Msian hsemate, Aaron now too.. for Me & Cal. Been out, dim sum & movies. We're sharing the same groceries now. Preparing & having dinner with 1 more person, feels more crowded. It's like... when Gerald's here last summer/winter.
Day light saving was over on Sun, 25th, 3am. Heard from Cal.. it's going to be back in Oct. The fluid mech lecturer was saying that next yr, Day Light Saving gonna be 2hrs ahead, instead of the 1hr now. Damn...
Still encountering problems when applying for job. It's not easy being an international student. So much restrictions. The visa, the work permit, the application for Coles... all must be of certain requirements. Just finished an Online Test Assessment for Coles. Coz they rejected me the 1st time saying that my Visa's less than 12mths, thus they cant employ me. I emailed them abt me having to stay here more than 12 mths, n waiting for my extension of Visa & hoping to work during the Easter break (it's 2 weeks). They replied with.. saying that I would need to be assessed with that online test. Hopefully all will go well after this. I'm still waiting for my extension of Visa to come.
It was meeting & outing with peeps here in Perth. I wonder... if my bad luck came fr the mirror I broke last yr. Broke Nick's mirror last yr.. crossing fingers that nth will happen. But I dun think 2006 was very smooth after all. Think I believe in the "bad luck" by the broken mirror.
